Skin Boosters are an alternative way to nourish your skin, especially designed to deliver deep-skin hydration, creating a fresh and natural look. They can be used to treat a range of areas including the face, neck, décolletage and hands.
The treatment involves hydrating microinjections of a soft, gel-like substance called Hyaluronic Acid (HA) into the skin, which improves the skin’s firmness, elasticity and radiance. A cannula may be used for facial treatments. Water-loving HA is found naturally in the body where it maintains hydration in the skin. As we age, the quality of our HA diminishes over time.
We recommend Skin Boosters as an initial course of treatment consisting of three sessions 2- 4 weeks apart. After this, you can have one-off treatments every 6 months to maintain your skin hydration and radiance.
Different Skin Booster products are used depending on the area being treated and the desired outcome. This will be discussed with the doctor during your consultation.
Each treatment is quick, typically lasting about 30 minutes. Numbing cream can be used. Treatment does not affect facial expression and the benefits can normally be seen over the following days. Downtime following a treatment is minimal, and many clients are able to return straight to work.
After treatment, you may notice slight redness, swelling, bruising or tenderness. The reactions are generally mild and usually disappear shortly after injection.
Cost per treatment is £200, with a course of 3 sessions charged at £550.
